Adam Gopnik is an essayist and commentator who writes frequently for The New Yorker. His books include Paris to the Moon and a children's novel, The King in the Window. A frequent guest on the Charlie Rose Show, Gopnik has been honored with three National Magazine Awards for Essay and Criticism and a George Polk Award for Magazine Reporting.
