about The Complete How To Kazoo
Irreverent, but practical too, here is everything (and we mean everything) there is to know about the art of the kazoo. - Learn about the kazoo’s American origins and its sacred prehistory: Did you know its African forerunner was used to communicate messages from the spirit world?
- How to play—beginning with the all-important "Hum, don’t blow.” Plus forming a kazoo band, sound effects, office tricks, home and garden projects, and X-treme kazoo.
about Barbara Stewart
Barbara Stewart began kazooing at the age of three. She has performed on The Tonight Show and with George Carlin, Frank Zappa, and PDQ Bach. Her triumph as a kazooist prompted the Smithsonian to request her concert kazoo, which now resides in the permanent music collection. She lives in Fairport, New York.
