In a charming tale of adventure, Jill Butler follows Paintbrush from his first excursions beyond his atelier to his dream come true-an invitation to show his work. Along the way he learns to live a la francaise in the city of Manet, Degas, Pissarro, and Picasso. He breakfasts on caf, au lait and a croissant amande, travels the metro, shops daily for provisions at open-air markets, haunts museums and the Left Bank galleries. Jill Butler is a free-lance designer and artist who often works in collage. She lives with her cat Paintbrush in Paris (of course), and in Chester Connecticut. Ms. Butler has exhibited her work for the past 10 years at galleries in New York, Connecticut, and Paris.
